Have you got your fix yet?

Admit it. There have been days you’ve looked in your closet and said, “I have nothing to wear!” Maybe you find yourself short on time to do any clothes shopping for yourself. Or perhaps you’ve dreamed of having your own personal stylist to help you pick out just the right outfit for your lifestyle and body. Good news! The answer is Stitch Fix.

No matter your age, budget, lifestyle or taste, this online service claims to be “your partner in personal style” — and it delivers.

The first step includes taking a personal style quiz where you share everything a complete stranger would need to know in order to dress you — this includes details about your lifestyle, what you typically spend on clothing and accessories, whether you prefer animal prints over polka dots, and what body parts you’re more likely to cover than others. Be honest!

Step 2 is the fun one — you receive five personalized items delivered to your door (when YOU want them) and you get to try them on in the comfort of your home, on your schedule, with decent lighting and without any pressure from a salesperson. Brilliant! In love with something you received? Hang it up in your closet and you’re good to go.  Not so crazy about an item? Simply put it in the prepaid return envelope and drop it off in the post office box. You’re only charged for the items you keep and all shipping and returns are free. There is a $20 styling fee, but you can use it toward your final order. If your personal stylist just happened to really get you and you keep all five items, you get 25% off the total.

To help create a successful fix, you’re encourage to create a Pinterest board with pins that represent your style. Headed to the beach in the middle of winter? Looking for a special dress for your best friend’s wedding? Leave a note for your stylist in your profile and get your next fix tailored to your needs. Each shipment also includes card with tips for how to wear the new items and pair them with pieces that may already exist in your wardrobe.

If you haven’t already, give Stitch Fix a try and share your experiences here. We hope you enjoy this service as much as we do.
